Dr. Barbara Seebacher is the head of the Department of Rehabilitation Research at the Rehab Centre Münster, Tyrol and a part-time researcher at Innsbruck Medical University, Clinical Department of Neurology. She also works as an external lecturer and student supervisor at the University of Applied Health Sciences (FHG), Innsbruck and the Danube University, Krems. Her research interests focus on the development and evaluation of new neurorehabilitation strategies such as rhythmic-cued motor imagery among others, particularly in people with neurological diseases e.g., multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. She is further interested in movement analysis and assessments, which genuinely represent the patients’ clinical status. With her international research and development partners she engages herself in the development and examination of novel technology-based rehabilitation devices.
